Salem Care Team focuses connecting needs with those who can help provide for those needs. While many needs are already met spontaneously within Salem, there are plenty of others that are not. Care Team seeks to find these needs and ensure that they get met.
Examples of previous and ongoing care projects:
- Writing notes to those who have lost a family member, those who could use some encouragement, etc.
- Coordinate Meal Trains for those experiencing illness, death, births, surgeries, etc.
- Organize Bridal Showers and Baby Showers as needed
- Provide regular phone check-ins with people as needed
- Visitation for the home-bound
