Women's Bible Studies are offered in the Fall and Spring semesters. While Tuesday morning Bible studies include a time for connecting with the larger group, smaller evening studies are also offered. Each semester we strive to offer a variety of new Bible studies with great opportunities to engage in God’s Word with other women.
We pray you will find one that will help you connect deeper with God and with others.

We begin together at 9:00 AM with a time of connecting and then we break into our individual groups from 9:30-11:00 AM for discussion and prayer. Free childcare is available! We just ask that you register early indicating your need so that we can plan accordingly.
1-3 John Inductive Bible Study
leader: amanda millar
As the last living disciple of Jesus approached the end of his life, he was inspired to write a series of letters to a beloved church community. What did John want them to know about fellowship with Christ? About obedience? About selfless love? Find out together as we explore 1,2, and 3 John. We will study scripture in a communal, inductive style, seeking to gather details of what the text says, construct thoughtful questions to better understand what those observations mean, and engage in meaningful application, both personally and as a community. All are welcome, no previous background knowledge of experience with scripture required!

“If you are a Christian woman who is seeking to grow in the faith and to live obediently, then you are qualified for spiritual motherhood.” Spiritual Mothering, as described by Susan Hunt, is similar to mentorship and based on Titus 2:1-5. Embracing Wisdom: God Given or Worldly (1 Kings 1-11, Philemon, Jude) // Gina Pletcher
Leader: Gina Pletcher
In 1 Kings 1-11 we will see the rise and fall of Solomon, who was given great wisdom and wealth from the hand of God and who built a temple for the glory of God to dwell, but succumbed to the allure of foreign gods through the influence of his wives. Through these chapters we are reminded to remain faithful, humble and obedient to God’s word. Jude reminds us the same, as it calls us to “contend earnestly for the faith” amid those who pervert the grace of God. Philemon will show us our great need for reconciliation and restoration among God’s people. Join us as we see the same threads of truth woven through these three very different books.

“Life Under the Sun” Ecclesiastes // By: Hannah Anderson
Leader: Carol Bishop

It often feels like life is spinning at a dizzying rate. All things ever seem to do is change. And just as soon as we get our footing, the ground shifts under us again. How can we keep our balance in such a disorienting world? Through this 8-session Bible study, Hannah Anderson invites us to consider the wisdom of Ecclesiastes afresh as we search for a solid foundation for life under the sun. Together, we’ll learn to name our anxieties, concerns, and disappointments. We’ll discover how Ecclesiastes is more than self-help of good advice –how it frees us to ask questions that Jesus Himself will eventually answer. Through it’s raw honesty and unflinching commitment to goodness, we’ll find hope in the one who guides all days under the sun.
